STORM Team

S.T.O.R.M. - Special Team Of Role Models

The STORM Team acts as a stepping stone for students interested in becoming Certified Instructors and Teaching Assistants and is comprised of selected students who help out with classroom management, mentoring, and school activites.

A candidate is recommended by an instructor or current STORM member and makes a valuable commitment to the school by helping and volunteering several times a week. Dedication , comittment, and a love for helping and teaching others is a must!

The requirements for the STORM Team include nominations from a parent, a school teacher and an Instructor. Candidates must meet minimum rank requirements for their age group and must be proficient in their curriculum.

School age STORM Team members must maintain an Honor Roll status to remain on the team and are required to provide 4 hours of service each month via an assigned class and/or mentoring individual students.
