Taegeuk Forms (Poomse)
Each Taegeuk represents an aspect of the physical world and symbolizes how we live within it.

Taegeuk Il-Jang: Heaven-the beginning, performed with the greatness of Heaven.

Taegeuk Ee-Jang: Lake-contains treasures and mysteries that can be found by overcoming our limitations using inner softness and outer firmness.

Taegeuk Sum-Jang: Fire-helps man survive yet can be dangerous if misused; encourages a sense of justice and ardor for training.

Taegeuk Sar-Jang: Thunder-one of the most powerful forces in nature symbolizing power and dignity.

Taegeuk Oh-Jang: Wind-gentle yet capable of mass destruction; both a mighty force and a calmness according to its strengths and weaknesses.

Taegeuk Yuk-Jang: Water-can move mountains or stand still using incessant flow and softness.

Taegeuk Chil-Jang: Mountain-majestic and firm no matter the size.

Taegeuk Pal-Jang: Earth-the end of the beginning

Karate Forms (Kata)
These forms represent the Japanese lineage of our system and are an integral part of Godan Ryuu Ju Jitsu which complements our style.

Taikyoku Shodan: The first of the kata for Shotokan karate-the "first level"

Fukyugata Ni:The is a basic kata that is intended to be done with kime (tension)-the next level of development in the student.

Heian Godan: A Shotokan Karate kata that emphasizes " a peaceful mind" -the last of the basic kata required for Black Belt

Tekki Shodan: Uses in-fighting techniques and grappling-an essential part of the Godan Ryuu System.
