Notes for Parents of Junior Students

The Academy does allow parents to watch classes however this can be a distraction to your child as well as others. If you would like to observe please do so from the observation area or speak with the Instructor regarding special circumstances. Please do not speak to your child during classes.

Please be aware that Promotion Test dates and times are posted on calendar and memos that the School distributes.

Promotion Tests are very important to all students. Please be aware of the status of your child, i.e. number of classes and curriculum learned, to make sure that he/she is ready for the pre-test and actual exam.

Keep track of your child's training lessons and past testing dates as this information must be recorded on Promotion Test Forms and is solely your responsibility.

Do not attempt to talk to or instruct your child during the training class.

Have faith and trust in the Academy-our Instructors are highly qualified.

Be supportive of your child and don't always expect too much of them. Remember that each child learns differently and at different rates and therefore may not be promoted as quickly as others.

Your child is unique and special-do not compare him/her with another child in the class.

Try to attend and support all Academy activities and events.

Announcements of upcoming events and activities will be posted on calendars and it is you responsibility to make sure you are informed.

Notices of dates the Academy will be closed are posted. Additional closures will be announced in class. Make sure you check every time you child attends class.

If you have questions or concerns please bring them directly to the Instructor.

Please take the time to explain the Academy Rules & Regulations to your child.

If you have other children with you please make sure they are well behaved as to not disrupt classes in session. Also loud talking is not permitted while classes in session.

Children should learn how to put on their own uniforms and equipment.

Learning takes patience and time. With your support and understanding the Academy believes that your child will be able to achieve his/her goals.

Dedicated, Motivated, Disciplined, Loyal!
